Enteré d’Apollon FL/1704.1/30

Choreographed by Pécour and published by Feuillet in 1704 this is one of the more difficult male solos which have survived from baroque times.

I am working on it about half a year now (with Maria Muehlbacher from Neoba)and still I have feeling I have just begun.

Well this is work for professional dancer, thats one thing. The required level of technique is higher than mine, for sure. But I have to say it is not as high as I have expected. Therefore I cannot hope to dance this solo on the stage, but for my own pleasure and for friends… maybe.

There are steps which I have to simplify for me and others which are frankly quite hard to interpret from the notation. In most cases the notation is clear enough and easy to read.
